I get horrible breakouts now, before my skin was They don't work and it burns your skin mildly. Not recommended. This is sandpaper. To sand the hair on your legs off. By the time I had sanded enough to get rid of the hair my skin was red and sore.

Don't do it. Don't sand your hair and skin off. It will I ended up liking these, but not for their intended purpose. They didn't do very well at removing hair I always had a few strays on my legs, never tried it anywhere else. However, I liked it I bought these because I have super hairy " gorilla-legs" LOL the first time I used it, they worked great!

For me, they worked well on leg stubble, letting me smooth things out without going through the whole production of a shower. They didn't work as well on my bikini zone or underarms; I had to make many passes with the pad to see results in those areas where my hair is coarser, and it just felt like way more work than shaving would be.

Added perk: My legs are super dry, and the Smooth Away pads are excellent for exfoliating away dull flakiness. You just have to be careful not to overdo the rubbing, or your skin can end up red and irritated. The clincher: I'd definitely recommend buying the pads in a store so you don't get dinged on shipping which can make the pads even more expensive than those outrageously priced razor blades we've vented about. Also, I found that my stubble reappeared at about the same rate it does with shaving, and that a large pad lasted for about two full leg "shaves" before losing effectiveness.
