Should i become forsworn

One was the savage leader of what is essentially a cult terrorist movement that justified its horrors by playing victim, the other was a greedy pompous snake that sweeps the murder of his own people under the rug just so he can continue to make a living.

They both had their own families to look out for, but they chose the worst ways to go about it. Do the Reach a favor and get rid of them both. I ended up killing Madanach during the quest. Not only does it rid Markarth of the bigotry and vitriol of the Forsworn who literally worship bird monsters who eat and slaughter humans , but it also removes Thonar's private army, thus making it far harder for him to control Markarth.

The Forsworn might be fighting for 'independence', but they're fighting for it on the wrong terms. I can't support them, because, ultimately, I don't care if 'they were there first'. They have no morals and don't stick to any sort of code, killing whoever isn't part of their little cult. While my actions may be a minor victory for Thonar, the Empire will finish carrying out their mission and put an end to Thonar's corruption, so he'll still end up being taken out.

I think that taking out Madanach is honestly the lesser of two evils, as he doesn't advocate any sort of unified or peaceful society, whereas Thonar at least maintains some modicum of humanity. What I think we can all agree on is that this is an awesome grey area in Skyrim that really helps to strike back against the people who say that Skyrim has no depth and is only for stupid babies.

I also think we can agree that not being able to properly join the Forsworn was a massive oversight. At the end of the day, do whatever you want. Each side can be justified, and it really isn't my place to decide for you. By the way, can we all agree that Lord Hadron really needs to stop screaming 'racist' at everyone and get his points straight?

Because he really annoys me. If you sided with the Forsworn, you side with Palestine in real life. I don't think ether side is right really.

They both did stupid things, they should have been able to aviod.. More topics from this board How was it for you? Side Quest 1 Answer How do I solve the 3 stone puzzle? Side Quest 5 Answers Where can I find a soul trap weapon? What's the order?!

But now that I have played skyrim enough there are very few nords that I like. I really feel for the for the forsworn. At least the ones in the prison.

But it doesn't justify slaughtering innocent civilians. I'm thinking I will get the shiv then brawl with borkul to gain access to madanach. Then dispatch him quietly, and since I feel bad for the other prisoners I would leave the door open and let them escape.

I'm still not sure though, for this build I'm a "noble" thief, I'm not sure which my character would do. User Info: Yuffie67 Yuffie67 7 years ago 7 I do both Discovered a bounty glitch huge bounty for no reason. Weapon attack range. Where did the Dragonborn come from?

Is there a Magicka equivilant to Sleeping Tree Sap? Legendary Run experiences. It's mostly about choosing the lesser of two evils, never a good decision to make. I had always considered the Forsworn as savages that needed to be put down. But when I did the quest "The Forsworn Conspiracy", it was revealed that Thonar Silver-Blood is one of the most of the most wholeheartedly evil characters in Skyrim.

When I learned from him that he used Madanach as a puppet to carry out his will, my mind went to Kolskeggr Mine and the mining town of Karthwasten, when the miners were victims of a Forsworn attack and then the Silver-Blood mercenaries suddenly appeared and kindly offered protection as well as trying to convince the owner to sell the mine for the Silver-Bloods.

Same thing with Kolskeggr Mine, which is infested with Forsworn and I could bet they were there because Thonar ordered Madanach to invade it and then buy it from its owner. And let's not forget that Kolskeggr Mine is full of gold. What is better than blood and silver? Blood, silver and gold! Any doubts? And finally we have Eltrys, whose father owned a mine and was killed by the Forsworn. And who ordered the Forsworn to kill Eltrys' father?

Do I need to answer? Yngvar says that when the guards make an arrest, they must check with Thonar first. Second, Thonar loves to frame innocent people to make them mine his precious silver and I'm not just talking about framing you for murdering Eltrys. Odvan, Duach and Uraccen are fine example of what a person with power, influence and money can do to others.

So, I sided with Madanach because I loved to watch him killing Thonar, raising him as an undead and waxing the floor with those corrupted guards and I didn't have pity of the civilians that the Forsworn killed because they were trying to be heroes and joined the fight against the Forsworn.

When a NPC asks me "Do you have any idea of how many innocents died? The Forsworn have killed many innocents at the command of Thonar Silver-Blood. But my quest for purging the Silver-Bloods from Markarth don't stop here.

My question is which side did you choose and why? It's just like the Civil War. You chose a side and justified your answer. That is what I want here, please. I've made the most terrible, yet true, metaphor in my head. I won't even bring it up, but if anyone knows United States history of the last years, it should make itself apparent. I'm going with Silver-Bloods. It's easier to eradicate the Silver-Bloods than the Forsworn when the time comes.
